SZA gives promising update on Paramore collaboration: ‘It’s in the works’

 SZA and Paramore have been concocting something in the studio together.

Almost a year after the possibility of a cooperation was first prodded, SZA uncovered in a new TikTok back and forth discussion interview with Apple Music that the two specialists finished their words.

"All in all, individuals need to be aware: 'Is a Paramore/SZA collab in progress? We want it," the Kill Bill hitmaker read out a fan question.

"Definitely!" she shouted, prodding, "Soon, soon."

The 34-year-old R&B star additionally uncovered, "It's in progress."

The most recent update comes a year after Williams named SZA as one of the Dark specialists that she would need to work with.

"I love her voice. SZA for around six years currently has been the one. I've been sending the messages week by week right now," Williams said in an August 2023 episode of the Individuals of color Love Paramore webcast.

The sentiments were common, as SZA owned up to going to Williams for exhortation on her melodic endeavors.

"Since it felt truly normal to me, yet you're the sovereign of this, how can it sound to you? Furthermore, [Williams] would be like, 'This is great," SZA reflected in a 2022 meeting with Individuals Magazine.
