The Jamaat-e-Islami on Wednesday dismissed a political alliance and backing for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), which had looked for help from the religio-ideological group to oblige free movers arose triumphant in the February 8 decisions for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Gathering.
Conversing with the media here, JI Representative Ameer Liaquat Baloch declared that after exhaustive conferences inside the party, they had chosen not to conform to the PTI demand.
He uncovered the PTI had moved toward the JI exclusively for help with framing the public authority in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while communicating status for collaboration at the public level.
