Petrol price increases in Pakistan

The overseer government has climbed the petroleum cost by Rs13.55 per liter for the following fortnight, on the suggestion of Oil and Gas Administrative Power (OGRA).

Refreshed POL costs come full circle from February 1 at 12 PM.

"Legislature of Pakistan has chosen to get changes the ongoing costs of oil based goods during the fortnight beginning from first February 2024, as suggested by Oil and Gas Administrative Power (OGRA)," an assertion gave by the Money Division read.

After the update, the cost of petroleum currently remains at Rs272.89 per liter, while the cost of rapid diesel remains at Rs278.96 after a climb of Rs2.75 per liter.

The most recent cost climb comes considering progressing strains in Center East as Israel keeps on squeezing battle on Gaza.

Besides, the cost of lamp fuel oil has been diminished to Rs186.62 per liter after a climb of Rs0.24 and the cost of light-speed diesel has been expanded to 166.86 per liter after a climb of Rs2.03 per liter.
