Nikah during Iddat case: IHC reserves judgement on Imran, Bushra Bibi petition

 The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has saved judgment on Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi's appeal against Nikah during Iddat case.

The petitions looking for excusal of the case came okay with hearing in the IHC on Wednesday. IHC Boss Equity Aamer Farooq took up the case for hearing.

Advodate Salman Akram Raja and Usman Riaz Gill gave contentions for the previous top state leader and his life partner.

Salman Akram Raja, while giving references to various court choices, said Shariah Redrafting Council of High Court choice was there that if nikah happens following 39 days, it can't be proclaimed dissolved. This can be depicted as normal nikah.

Arraignment counsel Rizwan Abbasi said in the event that January 1 Nikah was right, why the need for solemnizing the second nikah was felt. The observers and Nikah Khawan in the second nikah are observers for this situation. The court saved the judgment in the wake of hearing the contentions.
